From Gwailo Father

FromGwailoFather, originally uploaded by AZG.

photo taken at bukit melawati, kuala selangor. there are a few families of "lotong" loitering at the top of the hill. very shy, but will accept food from tourists.

the small ones are orangy in color but will gain darker colors as grow up.

so no, this particular tyke was not fathered by a gwailo. hee hee...

for more photos, check out my photo album.

There are similar Lotongs round our area here. Once one came hopping from roof to roof reaching my room balcony and ran off when it saw me. Another time I saw one Lotong siting on the neighbour's pergola, looking left and right trying to jump up the balcony, scratching its head as if looking for an answer. Its got bilateral whitish rings circling both eyes. Punk style hairdo. And very long nimble tail. Once I saw 2 of them on the tree next to our house. They say Lotongs are the nastier of the lot. Thus I dare not leave the balcony door open when I am not around lest my room will be pilferred!

Terrible composition. An unforgivable injustice to a good camera as the image quality shows. Someone should shoot the camera immediately to end it`s misery. What`s the bus and all the mess doing in the back ground?
