Esok Deepavali

so tomorrow's deepavali. another public holiday in the multi-racial malaysia. no other contries in the world observes such diversity to this extend. including those countries that yells of equal rights, equal opportunities, equal sugar bla bla bla...

let me pick off where i left off last week. haa.... saturday went back to perak. iftar there and stayed overnight. got gulai tempoyak you.... sedap. and then sahur thought of just having suji porridge. but the fish in the gulai tempoyak was beckoning. i did not have the heart to jilt her. so, i ate her. ahahaha... buntal perut aku.

and then sunday back to kl. iftar at my brother's place. hmmm... ayam panggang sekor. and petai. serawa durian. and im very sure there were other lauks but cannot remember la. the petai was good enough for me.

monday back to work. went for a meeting at mindef by taxi. on the way out, it rained. and no taxi. had to walk all the way to datuk keramat lrt station. boy.. sure built my appetite for iftar.

tuesday i was on leave. picked-up my kid's report card from his pre-school. overall its okay, especially for an active boy! ahahaha... that's my boy!

so this morning was my quarterly appointment at hukm. first in the morning brought the younger one to clinic for flu. after that dropped the missus at lrt before proceeding to hukm. got there at 9 am. registered. waited. waited to see the doctor. waited. met a school mate that just went for surgery. got part of his tongue cut out due to cancer a few weeks ago. he is talking funny now. waited some more. and finally saw the doctor at 12:30 pm. the room was cold so i was freezing my butt out. my sore butt from seating too long.

oh well.. c'est la vie. a happy deepavali to my hindu friends.

to those that's going to be on the road, do be cautios as well as courteous. there are plenty of idiots on the road. take care...
