The Goat, The Water and The Beach

salams. been a long while since i last blogged. many events have taken place. we performed an aqiqah for amira sofia in kuantan. there's the big healthy goat we selected for the ceremony. i slaughtered it, with my dad and ikelah holding the sacrificial goat still.



as ikelah had to run to a meeting immediately after, so it was up to me to skin the goat. yupp.. did it myself. when ikelah was back from his meeting, he then assisted to quarter the goat. oh yeah, i accidentally punctured its gut and the stench... pheeewwwww!!!



a week before the aqiqah i went white water rafting with a group of people in kuala kubu baru. it was the selangor river, just after the selangor dam. it was a lot of fun and the adrenalin rush was fantastic. cant describe the feeling! oh, my raft-mate bumped into me an i fell into the rapids injuring a finger. but it was okay i guess.



this one was taken by a waterfall about halfway down river. we had lunch there which consisted of biscuits and apples. the water was refreshing cool. been a long while since i last enjoyed myself under a waterfall. we're planning to go again next month! anyone? mark your calendar on the 12th of august 2006.



last weekend, my wife and i went to phuket for a 3 days 2 nights getaway. just the two of us on air asia go holiday package. we stayed at club andaman hotel on patong beach. here's a photo of downtown patong during the day. nothing much. i'll blog more on phuket in the next edition.
