Amira Sofia, 2.8 kg came to the world today at 3:53 pm.

Joy joy joy... alhamdulillah syukur.

One Fathom Bank

hey people! salams and apa khabar?

a group of us went to one fathom bank to fish last may 5th. unfortunate for us, the water condition was not on our side. there weren't much water current. so, what? it means, no fish! or actually, not much fish. where ofb is usually a fishing haven, the trip did not really work out for us. we caught lots of tamban and selar kuning, and a few coral fish which we released back. 9w2ri caught a barracuda.



those fish we caught on friday ended up in the frying pan. 9w2bbs and yours truly took up kitchen duty. cleaned the fish, spice them up and threw them into the frying pan. so that night, we had rice, fried tamban in special spices, kerabu mangga (by kamal) and soy sauce onion. we cooked for like ten people but the seven of us managed to finished all the food!!! ahahaha...




the accommodation at ofb is pretty comfortable. enough to say that spending a night there without catching as many fish as we hoped for was not a total loss for some of us. so we are looking forward for the next trip to ofb, where we hope to get some serious fishing done! and the sunset was pretty amazing...

Rhode Island Alumni Dinner 2006

salams everyone..!!!



arrived back in kl last sunday evening.. around 6 pm. and guess what? straight to tjambuhan restaurant (belongs to iswa) for rhode island alumni dinner at 8 pm. boy.. it was fun. the food was good. the turn out was great too. some couldnt make it but to those who did... thank you.



... and the food was good too. evidenced by the gusto at which moeid was attacking the food... and the poor plate.



the guest of honor was kak ida and family. they turned up from jb.. made the trip just to attend the dinner. most grateful!!! those who have not met wani for the past years... she turned out to be a big gurl now..!!! dah besor panjang... ahahaha... tak lama lagi dah boleh buat kenduri kahwin la kak ida... but whoever that guy might be, kena pass through the protective father first.. assuming he got through kak ida. ahaksss...



the restaurant has a small fish pond in the compound.. favourite hangout for the children. it wasn't long before one decided to swim with the fish. and the award goes to anak nora and haniff. hehehe... kesian kuyup budak tu. next time, iswa has agreed to have towels ready...
